The jury of this residency, organised by Granada Unesco City of Literature with the City Council and the University of this city in southern Spain, highlights Sainz Borgo’s interest and the projection of a narrative work in constant growth, which has been translated into twenty languages and which has won, with three published novels, important awards.

Her work proposal for Granada is to finish her fourth novel, ‘Nazarena’, a literary project that closes the cycle formed by ‘La hija de la española’ and ‘El tercer país’, halfway between the family saga and psychological exploration, with madness as the focus of personal and social reflection, according to the jury’s decision.
