Karim Adeyemi: Red Bull Salzburg and BVB allegedly agree on a fee – but there is a new problem

The two parties are said to be quite far apart on some points. “Sky” reports that no agreement can yet be reached between BVB and Adeyemi, especially on questions of clauses and bonus payments.

At the moment, the talks are apparently stalling for precisely these reasons. Nevertheless, all sides reportedly want to continue working on a solution, even if Adeyemi is said to still be linked with RB Leipzig, Liverpool FC and Paris Saint-Germain.

Adeyemi: Salzburg and BVB agree on a fee

From 2009 to 2011, the native of Munich briefly played in the Bayern youth team, but then switched to Unterhaching. From there we went in 2018 towards Austria. In the past few months, however, BVB was the clear favorite for a transfer anyway. Therefore, a refusal of the young national player to Dortmund would come as a surprise.

According to the report, Salzburg and BVB were able to agree on a transfer fee of around 35 million euros after months of back and forth. Until recently, the Austrians are said to have demanded a little more than 40 million euros. According to information from “Sky”, Dortmund also wants to offer Adeyemi a five-year contract.
