Akim of Karaganda Meiram Kozhukhov offers to unite and put things in order in their yards and entrances. This Saturday, April 8, Karaganda will host the first city clean-up following winter.
“I propose to declare this Saturday a “Day of a Clean Courtyard and Friendly Neighbors.” Unite and clean up your yards, playgrounds, entrances. Surely every tenant will have equipment at home – someone has old garbage bags, someone it’s a rake,” says the akim of Karaganda.
Meiram Kozhukhov proposes to do a useful thing for everyone on this day – to clean the adjacent territory and at the same time spend time together, get to know the neighbors.
“Today, it is rare when neighbors know each other, and even more so they communicate, but here there is an opportunity to have a useful and pleasant time.”
Meiram Kozhukhov promises that public places – sidewalks, parks, squares, roads, streets – will be put in order in Karaganda as soon as possible.
Bags with collected garbage can be left along the roads, later the municipal services will take them out. Saturday is scheduled to start at 10:00.
