Traffic plan for 8th, 9th and 10th of Muharram has been released in Karachi. The main procession of Muharram al-Haram will leave Nishtar Park from Nishtar Park, which will reach Hussainiya Iraniyan Imam Bargah through its designated routes and end.
According to the traffic plan, citizens coming from Nazimabad can go from Lasbela Chowk to Nishtar Road, Garden to Manzil Maqsood, those coming from Liaquatabad will be diverted from Tin Hatti to Lasbela Chowk on the left side towards Central Jail. Those going from Hasan Square to People’s Chowrangi will be able to go to Shahrah Quaideen from Kashmir Road, Jail Flyover from Tin Hatti to Nishtar Road.
Heavy traffic from Super Highway, Gulbarg to MA Jinnah Road will be diverted from Liaquatabad No. 10 to Nazimabad Chowrangi No. 2, Heavy traffic will be diverted via Habib Bank Flyover, State Avenue Road, Shershah to Maripur. The same way will be used for the return.
Liaquatabad, Tin Hatti, Jehangir Road, Gurmand will join the procession to the exhibition while Society Light Signal will participate in the procession to the exhibition, Golestan Johar and Gulshan Iqbal, University Road, Old Sabzi Mandi, Kashmir Road, Society Light Signal will participate in the procession to the exhibition. For security reasons, MA Jinnah Road will remain closed from Gurmandir to Tower.
