Karachi Kings defeated Lahore Qalandars by 86 runs – Sports

Karachi Kings defeated Lahore Qalandars in their last match in Pakistan Super League (PSL) 8.

Out of the race for the title of PSL Eight, Karachi Kings defeated Lahore Qalandars, who are at the first place in the points table, by 86 runs.

Karachi Kings captain Imad Wasim won the toss and elected to bat first in the 30th match of PSL at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore on Sunday.

Karachi Kings gave Lahore Qalandars a target of 197 runs to win, in response to which the entire team of Lahore Qalandars was bowled out by scoring 110 runs in 18.5 overs.

Karachi Kings opener Mohammad Akhlaq was adjudged the best player of the match for playing a brilliant innings of 51 runs.

With the match between Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars, the group stage of PSL 8 has come to an end and the playoff stage will begin from March 15 following a two-day rest.

In the playoff stage, the teams of Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultans, Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi are included. While Quetta Gladiators and Karachi Kings have been out of the event due to poor performances.
