Karachi: A case was registered against the leadership of a religious party for the emergency visit to the American consulate – Pakistan

Two days ago in Karachi, a case of rioting in a rally against the martyrdom of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah on MT Khan Road was filed in Docks police station.

On Sunday, a rally against the martyrdom of Hassan Nasrallah was held under the Imamia Students Organization (ISO) and other organizations in Karachi, during which there were clashes between the police and the protesters in an attempt to advance towards the American Embassy. Police personnel were injured.

In the FIR of the incident, it was said that the leadership of Wahdat-ul-Muslimeen Majlis on Mai Kalachi and MT Khan Road, which included Maulana Asghar Hussain Shahidi, Maulana Nazer Hussain Taqvi, Maulana Baqir Abbas, Maulana Sadiq Jafri, was headed by four to five. A thousand people marched from the Neti Jetty Bridge to the American Embassy.

According to the FIR, the leadership of the Imamia Students (ISO) in a vehicle in which Razi Haider, Mubasher Zaidi, Sabir Abu Maryam, Ghayur Abbas and ten to twelve people with them incited the people by giving a speech, on which the people were enraged. The persons, who were armed with sticks and stones, tried to remove the containers on both sides, on which the SHO tried to stop the agitators tactically. They pelted stones and attacked police officers and employees with sticks and later started firing with firearms. Officers and personnel on duty in different police stations were injured due to the stones and sticks of the agitators.

According to the FIR, the protestors also broke the front glass bonnet of the official mobile on administrative duty and also set fire to a motorcycle, and also injured JyTV correspondent Daniyal by throwing stones on his head.
