A 70-year-old woman surnamed Lan left her home to live in Taichung for some reason 20 years ago. She hoped to see her son once more in her lifetime, so she returned to Kaohsiung to seek help from the police. Renwu police patrolled and stopped a 46-year-old man surnamed Gao on the 6th, and found out that Gao was the son of the blue woman, and successfully helped the mother and son reunite. The Kaohsiung City Police Department’s Renwu Branch said in today’s press release that at around 5:00 pm on the 6th, the Niaosong Branch of the Renwu Police Station was patrolling. When passing through the intersection of Zhongzheng Road and Changqing Road in Niaosong District, they saw a 46-year-old man surnamed Gao. Riding a scooter for smoking illegally and stopping him, it turned out that Gao Nan was the son Lan Fu was looking for.

The Kaohsiung Ren Armed Police stopped and investigated violations and accidentally reunited a mother and son who had been separated for 20 years.

The police stated that following investigation, the man surnamed Gao was assisting in the search for missing persons. After checking his identity, he was surprised to find that he was the son of a blue woman who had been reported missing for more than 20 years. The police immediately assisted Gao Nan to contact the blue woman in Taichung.

It is understood that the blue woman left home to live in Taichung alone 20 years ago due to unbearable domestic violence. When I met my son, I went to the Wujia Police Station of Fengshan Sub-bureau to ask the police to help me find him.

After the police found the tall man, they immediately notified the blue woman and asked the mother and son to meet each other by phone. Gao Nan told his mother that he had been looking for her for a long time, but he did not expect to have a chance to meet once more, and he was very emotional. The two also made an appointment to reunite once more during the Lunar New Year. After the police went through the evacuation procedures for Gao Nan, Gao Nan also thanked the police frequently.
