The viralized apologies of Kanye West to the Jewish community for their anti-Semitic sayings are, paradoxically, once once more in question. According to a report from the portal TMZthe text would be the work of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbot.
After various criticisms that pointed to the authorship of the message, the American media introduced Kanye’s apology into an AI content detector, which detected words and phrases usually used in chatbot phrases, such as “I sincerely apologize”, “I did not mean to hurt” and “promote unity”among other.
“AI content detector says there is an 85% chance that Kanye’s apology was written by a computer”TMZ points out.
The publication of the renamed Yewritten in Hebrew on an edited image, appeared on their official accounts on the 2nd6th of Decemberone day following Christmas.
“I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any involuntary outburst caused by my words or actions, it was not my intention to hurt or be disrespectful and I am deeply sorry for any pain I may have caused,” the message reads.
“I am committed to starting with myself and learning from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future. “Your forgiveness is important to me and I am committed to repairing the damage and promoting unity,” he added.
Kanye West: His Apologies vs. Chat GPT Response
In another attempt to verify the authorship of the text, TMZ asked the ChatGPT to write an apology with the same characteristics and following several prompts, “and a little trial and error,” the tool returned a response similar to Ye’s.
These were ChatGPT’s apologies: “I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for my recent involuntary outburst. I did not mean to hurt or degrade, and I am deeply sorry for any pain caused. I am committed to learning from this experience, promoting unity and repairing the damage caused. Your forgiveness means a lot to me.”
