American rapper Kanye West has warned that his new album will not be available on major streaming platforms but only on an internet-connected device that can be purchased.
In an Instagram post, the controversial billionaire announced that his fans can listen to his upcoming album “Donda 2” on a small internet-connected speaker device called Stem Player, available for $200.
In his post, West explained that “tech companies have made music almost free” and that “it is time to free music from this system of oppression,” calling on his colleagues to “take it up and build their own system.”
