Kanye West Day Won’t Happen Again in Atlanta

A former Atlanta council member says there will be no Kanye West Day due to his recent controversies. Former board member Natalyn Archibong is distancing herself, saying she would not hand over the honor now.

Archibong was part of the Atlanta City Council that decided to honor the rapper last year. Ye was born in the city, so she felt it was fitting to honor him with a day at his birthplace.

Sadly, the fashion designer’s ominous headlines forced the former board member to say goodbye to him, so no Kanye West Day this year. Archibong went so far as to say she didn’t need an explanation for the rapper’s attitude.

Kanye West has always occupied the special section of controversial headlines. He increased it during his show at Paris Fashion Week. The rapper has since faced several backlashes. However, he does not take the back seat.

No more KANYE WEST DAY due to his recent controversies

This period is kind of for the rapper, and it will make sense for him to calm down. But it’s like he’s determined to play the same wing in media, the bad guy. Since his “White Lives Matter” shirt display at PFW, it has been issue after issue for Ye.

Khloe kardashian, his ex-wife’s sister, called him out for dragging their family when he tried to deflect blame from his “WLM.” He also castigated a VOGUE editor who talked about his stunt at PFW, which got everyone talking. These are a few, among others.

Fast forward to this Monday on the new “Drink Champs” with the rapper. He talked about George Floyd, Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian. His comment on the show forced Archibong to step down and declare that there will be no Kanye West Day.

The rapper’s day was formed on July 22 last year after his Donda Tour kicked off in Atlanta. Archibong said that the proclamation could not be repeated. It was made because of his mother and a recognition of her substantial contribution to the arts.

The former board member claimed the music star was not supposed to make such comments in 2022. Hence, no Kanye West Day going forward.

No you !
