■ Comment from Kanya Fujimoto
“I will be completely transferred.
First of all, thank you very much for a long time.
I have spent regarding nine and a half years in Tokyo Verdy since I entered junior when I was in sixth grade.
Before joining Verdy, I received a selection and was notified that I passed the exam, but because I was in Yamanashi at that time, I was wondering whether to enter or not. I was able to play soccer at Verdy because of the parents who pushed me back at that time and the people involved in the club, and I think I am now as I grow up.
I don’t think there was any better choice.
Time passed in a blink of an eye, but looking back, I think I’ve been through a process I mightn’t imagine when I was a kid.
In that process, I met many people, and with the support and help of those people, I think I am now. I think I’m weak because I’m just getting help, and now I want to be the one who gives it. I am really grateful to many people.
It’s been two years since I played in Europe, and I think there are things I can’t feel I had to go to. I think that there are higher standards in the environment around me, and I try to catch up with them and get various things. I want to be able to get something higher, and I’m looking forward to thinking that there is still more.
I will be leaving Verdy with this transfer, but I am very happy to be able to embody the word “From Verdy to the world” that I had seen since I entered junior. Next time, I want to do my best so that I can be the goal of the children.
Last but not least, I was very happy to be able to enter Verdy and spend time in Verdy.
Thank you to everyone who was involved in me once more.
It’s lonely to leave my favorite place, but I’ll do my best with determination and responsibility.
I’m really thankful to you”
