In the Kanto region, the weather will continue to be sunny, and the following day, the 19th (Thursday) and 20th (Friday), will be summer days with maximum temperatures of 25℃ or higher in many places. On the 21st (Saturday), cold air will flow in, so it looks like the weather will be completely replaced by cold air. By the morning of the 22nd (Sunday), heating will be necessary.

Tomorrow 18th: Sunny and pleasant weather. Be careful of the temperature difference between morning and evening and daytime.

Today, the 17th (Tuesday), blue skies spread throughout the morning, making it a summer day with maximum temperatures of 25 degrees Celsius or higher for the second consecutive day in central Tokyo. This will be the first time in 17 years since 2006 that central Tokyo will have two consecutive summer days in late October (16th to 31st).

Tomorrow, the 18th (Wednesday), the area around Honshu will be covered by a belt-shaped high pressure system, allowing plenty of sunlight to reach the area. The maximum temperature will be around 23℃ in many places, a little lower than today, and the daytime will be pleasant and sunny.
The minimum temperature drops to around 15 degrees Celsius in the south, so you’ll need a jacket in the morning. In the northern part of the country, even the plains are likely to have temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius. When going out, it is best to wear clothes that are easy to put on and take off.

The 19th (Thursday) and 20th (Friday) are summer days, then the 21st (Saturday) and 22nd (Sunday) are cool.

The following day, on the 19th (Thursday) and 20th (Friday), the Kanto region will be covered in high pressure and will receive plenty of sunlight.
There are many places in the summer where the maximum temperature is over 25 degrees Celsius, and it looks like it will be very hot. It’s the second half of October, but short sleeves will come in handy once more.

However, a front is expected to pass near the Kanto region on the night of the 20th (Friday). After the front passes, we will be replaced by colder air. Even if it is sunny on the 21st (Saturday) and 22nd (Sunday), the temperature will only reach or below 20 degrees Celsius, and winds from the north will likely lower the perceived temperature.
In particular, on the morning of the 22nd (Sunday), the temperature will drop to nearly 10℃ in central Tokyo, and in some places in the north it will drop to nearly 5℃. Please be careful when choosing clothing.

Temperature and clothing guidelines

There will be a big difference in temperature over the weekend.
On the 19th (Thursday) and 20th (Friday) you can wear short sleeves during the day, but on the 21st (Saturday) and 22nd (Sunday) you will need to wear a layer even during the day. You will also need something thicker, such as a trench coat, in the morning and evening.

The perception of heat and cold differs from person to person, but please refer to the temperature and clothing guidelines and wear clothes that are easy to adjust.
