Kansas City player’s ‘crazy’ celebration goes viral (video)

In the world of football, we have seen all kinds of goal celebrations, each more original than the next, but last night. But Lo’eau LaBonta, Kansas City midfielder, was strong once morest Angel City (1-1). Scorer on penalty at the end of the match, she expressed her joy in a surprising way.

Fake injury and twerk

LaBonta faked a back right thigh strain before her grimace quickly turns into a broad smile accompanied by a brief twerk in front of her teammates died of laughter. The supporters were also able to appreciate the posterior of the player who scored her first goal of the season with her club.

She will then say in a press conference that this gesture came from a Twitter bet and that she wants to make goal celebrations more fun without a world and a sport that is becoming more and more stereotyped. The fans loved it, the spectators too. We can’t wait for Lo’eau LaBonta’s next goal, which has a name just as original as its ideas…

A few weeks ago, in Argentina, Matias Rojas, a Racing player, made the same gesture while twerking. It’s probably a little more embarrassing when it’s a man (everyone will have their own opinion) but it’s just as fun.

Internet users react

On social networks, Internet users have commented en masse on the images showing Lo’eau LaBonta twerking in front of his girlfriends and a conquered stadium.

We read on Twitter:

  • ”Football, it has changed lol”
  • ”Too bad I wasn’t in the front row lol, I would surely have appreciated…”
  • ”It’s the best action of the game without a doubt, I’m going to take my license for the Kansas City club…”
  • ”Too good, I want more lol…”
  • ” We laugh, but women’s football has changed, bcp more good level and often more entertaining than men, but hey I say that I say nothing… ”
  • “Is it me or all the players are extremely pretty…”
  • ”It’s good to see this today in a world of m…”
  • ”What’s a shame in there is that I’m sure that some women who are stuck in the c… will still find something to criticize…”

The Football feminine is becoming more and more popular.

The Olympic Games, the World Cups have made this sport practiced by women more and more important. Major League Soccer and sport in the United States has been instrumental in the growth of women’s soccer. Women like Megane Rapinoe, emblematic figures of the round ball for her talent as a player, but also her socio-political messages like LeBron James (NBA star) have done society a world of good. In France, football is also important, because Lyon has dominated Europe for years with 8 Champions Leagues won.
