Kansas City Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys win in NFL

The 18th and final day of the NFL regular season opened on Saturday with two games. The Kansas City Chiefs, qualified for the play-offs, won over the Denver Broncos (28-24), who were already eliminated.

A fumble wins the Chiefs

Led 21-20 in the middle of the last quarter, the Chiefs took the advantage, thanks to a fumble from Melvin Gordon, the Denver running back, who was recovered by Nick Bolton, the Kansas City linebacker. The latter then escaped to score a touchdown of 86 yards.

Behind, the Broncos might only respond with a field goal and the Chiefs, who had the last offensive possession, then turned the clock. Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw 270 yards and two TD’s.

Kansas City can finish No. 1 in their conference

His team can still hope to finish at the top of the American conference and go directly to the second round of the play-offs. This will require a defeat of the Tennessee Titans, current No. 1 in the conference, once morest the Houston Texans on Sunday.

The Dallas Cowboys corrected the Philadelphia Eagles (51-26). Both teams had already qualified for the play-offs, and the Eagles had decided to leave several management players to rest, including quarterback Jalen Hurts. The Cowboys took the opportunity to register seven touchdowns, including five thrown by Dak Prescott, the Texas QB.
