Kangin, a former member of the group Super Junior, expressed regret over the case of singer Jung Joon-young’s group chat room sex crime.

On the 23rd, a video titled ‘Kangin, following a 7-year hiatus / What is Kim Young-woon’s life like?’ was uploaded on the YouTube channel ‘The Lives of Others’.

On this day, Kangin said, “I debuted as a Super Junior team with a good opportunity following being cast on the street. I thought a lot regarding my own happy life, but I made too many mistakes and mistakes, so I can’t do that anymore.” Previously, Kangin was involved in a drunk driving accident in 2016 and an assault controversy the following year.

Later, Kangin mentioned the sex crime case of Jung Joon-young’s group chat room. He said, “At that time, I was filming a drama in Japan. However, articles appeared as if I was a member of that group chat room,” he said. “At the time, it was very difficult. Especially since there was something I had done wrong, I just kept explaining. There was even an article saying that it was not related, but people mightn’t remember it.” At that time, even Super Junior was mentioned and the atmosphere turned bad, so Kangin decided to leave the team in 2019.

Kangin said, “It’s difficult to have my name mentioned, but since Super Junior was also mentioned, I really thought this would be unacceptable.” I always feel sorry for the members. I think I will be sorry for the rest of my life.”
