Kamala Harris calls for respect for the will of the Venezuelan people

The Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris, spoke out this Sunday, July 28, about the electoral process taking place in Venezuela.

Harris indicated that “We must respect the will of the Venezuelan people”as he expressed through his account on X.

He also stated that the United States supports the people of Venezuela, the same people who “expressed his voice in today’s historic presidential elections”.

“The will of the Venezuelan people must be respected. Despite the numerous challenges, we will continue to work for a more democratic, prosperous and secure future for the people of Venezuela.“, stressed the Democratic Party nominee.

White House calls for pressure against Maduro

This Sunday, the American congresswoman, Maria Elvira Salazar, requested the White House against Nicolás Maduro.

“We are monitoring what that result will be.“, he said from District 27 in Miami.

Salazar was accompanied by Transparencia Electoral, an organization that usually monitors all elections in Latin America.

“I have been in communication with the White House. And Democrats and Republicans are united in one voice. We must send a message to the Maduro regime: elections cannot be stolen.“, he said.
