Kamal Haasan and R Mahendran have announced a new film under the banner of Raj Kamal Films International. The yet-to-be-titled film stars Chimpu as the hero. The film has been tentatively titled STR 48.
Raj Kamal Films announced the film through Twitter. They have also released an announcement video. The tag line of the film is Blood and Battle. STR 48 is directed by Desingh Periyasamy, who became a hitmaker with the Dulquer Salmaan starrer Kannum Kannum Bhoyaadithal.
More information regarding the film is not known. Kamal Haasan is currently busy with the film Indian 2. The upcoming Chimpu film is Ten Thala directed by Obbeli N Krishna. Gautham Karthik and Anu Sithara are in other lead roles in the film.
