At the ceremony, other best employees of preschool institutions were congratulated and presented with certificates from the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
The mayor of the city, Oleg Aminov, recalled that September 27 marked the 160th anniversary of the opening of the first kindergarten in Russia. On behalf of all Kaliningrad residents, he thanked all the employees of preschool institutions: “I admire you, because it is you who shape the worldview and educate not only children, but also parents.”
Minister of Education of the Kaliningrad Region Svetlana Truseneva noted the work of teachers during the difficult period of the coronavirus pandemic and congratulated teachers on their professional holiday. “Thank you for seeing their talents and abilities in little creatures, lending a helping hand, and most importantly, making children happy,” said the head of the department.
