Health Minister Veena George has directed a team of burn treatment experts from Kottayam Medical College to reach Kalamaseri Medical College in the wake of the explosion in Kalamasery. Kottayam Medical College is also ready. It was also directed to provide adequate Kaniv 108 ambulances.
Earlier, the minister had directed the director of the health department and the director of the medical education department to provide better treatment to the injured. The health minister issued a warning to the hospitals and asked all the health workers, including doctors, who are on leave to return immediately.
