Kagoshima Prefecture has announced personnel changes and organizational reforms this spring. The number of women in managerial positions at section manager level and above was 63, the highest number ever.

“The number of female employees at section manager level or above is 63, and the proportion of female employees at section manager level or above is 14.0%, both of which are record highs.”
This spring, 1,920 prefectural employees will be transferred, 139 will retire, and 176 will be newly hired.
