The K9 Jets company offers private flights for Dog owners and their four-legged friends. The dogs can sit comfortably on the seats and the people can sip champagne. For environmentalists, this “ridiculous” offer for rich people is an absolute no-go.
K9 Jets is run by a couple from Birmingham and has already offered flights to New Jersey, Los Angeles, Frankfurt, Paris and Lisbon, as the Guardian reports. A route from Dubai to London was also recently added.
Company co-founder Adam Golder told AeroTime Hub: “K9 Jets believes that animal family members deserve to travel alongside their owners in comfort and style.” He continued: “We can’t wait to open this new route in time for the holidays so guests can celebrate in style with their loved ones (including pets).”
Extinction Rebellion calls for sustainable transportation for the masses
Extinction Rebellion, a group of climate activists, sharply criticizes the service. “This is clear evidence that super-rich people are still capable of loving an animal like one of their own, which strangely gives me a sense of hope,” says Todd Smith, a spokesman for the group and a former pilot.
