K. Sudhakaran withdrew the reference; ‘Told the story heard in Malabar; Apologies’ | KSudhakaran | ManoramaNEWSm | Kerala | Congress Tharoor South Kerala | Breaking News

KPCC President K. withdraws the derogatory remark of South Kerala. Sudhakaran. It was only a repetition of the story that had been heard in Malabar since childhood. Apologies if the comment offended anyone. Shashi Tharoor only said that he lacked experience. Sudhakaran explained in Thiruvananthapuram that he did not say that he was a trainee.

The controversy started when K. Sudhakaran came to the stage by insulting South Kerala by misinterpreting the Ramayana. In an interview given to an English media, Sudhakaran joined Ram and Lakshman to praise Malabar. The question during the interview was the difference between the political leaders of South Kerala and Malabar. Sudhakaran narrated a story, prefaced by saying that there are historical differences. After killing Ravana, Sri Rama was returning from Lanka with Sita and Lakshmana in the Pushpaka Vimana. When the plane was over southern Kerala, Lakshman felt like throwing his brother into the sea and passing away with Sita. When he reached Thrissur, Lakshmana had a change of heart and felt remorse. At this time Rama patted Lakshmana on the shoulder and consoled him saying, I have read your mind. It’s not your fault. It is the problem of the area we have entered.

Minister V. Sivankutty came forward once morest the statement denigrating South Kerala. Sivankutty wrote on Facebook that the politics of division has always been the politics of the Congress, the problem is not the north and the south, and humanity is what is needed.
