CPM State Secretary MV Govindan reiterated that K Rail is essential for Kerala. Vandebharat trains will not replace K Rail. MV Govindan stated that there is no possibility of comparison between K Rail and Vandebharat train which can travel from one end of Kerala to the other end.
The aim of K Rail is to make the whole of Kerala a single city. Every twenty minutes to both parts of Kerala
There will be a train. This is an indispensable project for Kerala. If not today, it will come tomorrow.
MV Govindan said that the people who participated in the popular defense march that he conducted also accepted the K-rail project with increased enthusiasm and when it was clarified with examples that the very poor would also benefit from K-rail, the media distorted it.
