K Muralidharan bursts out after being neglected at Congress’s Vaikom Satyagraha Centenary Celebration venue.

Sasitaroor and K Muralidharan were both ignored at the Congress’s Vaikom Satyagraha centenary celebrations. They were not given any chance to speak, and Sasitaroor was even deprived of a seat in the front row. K Muralidharan expressed his displeasure directly to KPCC president and KC Venugopal.

K Sudhakaran had personally invited Shashi Tharoor to the Vaikom Satyagraha centenary celebrations and requested him to preach, but the organizers of the event denied him a seat in the front row as well. Finally, DCC president stood up for Tharoor, but Tharoor left the stage as the people left following Speaker KC Venugopal had spoken.

While Ramesh Chennithala was given a chance to speak on the grounds that he was a former KPCC president, K Muralidharan was left out despite being on the same list. Muralidharan told the leadership that they should say if they have no interest and not insult them publicly. Sudhakaran replied that those who controlled the audience had forgotten. Muralidharan said that he should look for another person to contest the elections.

Tharoor’s issue is once more being discussed in the Congress following a break. The KPCC leadership is unlikely to be ready for a public response on the matter.
