This April 14th the K-Day at the facilities of the Parque de la Industria, zone 9, Guatemala, where people of different ages gathered to share around a joint passion for K-pop.

One of the many fans of the culture of K-pop It is the Guatemalan Alejandra González who attended the Parque de la Industria on Sunday, April 14, motivated by the desire to share with the community k-pepper.

“It is a culture that we all deserve to know a little regarding. It is complex, but at the same time quite beautiful. It is something totally different from what we have seen at some point in our lives as Latinos. It is interesting to share cultures“González shared.

K-Day was born as a group of friends who were looking for a space dedicated to gender and the Korean movement. To date, the group has managed to promote the event with the help of entities such as the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Guatemala.

“At the embassy we do everything possible to support them with the necessary elements to successfully carry out the event.“, he mentioned Joo Ho Cheon, Korean ambassador.

Likewise, Ho Cheon highlighted a good relationship between Guatemala and the Asian country through cultural initiatives -As the K-Day-, political and economic.

Regarding the latter, the diplomat mentioned: “The The Korean community is very present in the Guatemalan community, providing many jobs. We are providing work to more than 150 thousand people,” said the ambassador.
