Zagreb:Jyoti Chauhan became the first Indian woman to score a hat-trick in Europe’s top division football. 23-year-old Jyoti is a player for Dinamo Zagreb in the Croatian women’s league. In Sunday’s game, Z.N.K. Jyoti’s goals were in the 28th, 37th and 46th minutes against Agram Club. Dinamo Zagreb won the match by four goals to one.
A former player of Gokulam Kerala FC, Jyoti hails from Dhar in Madhya Pradesh. Jyoti had also earlier achieved the feat of being the first Indian woman to score a goal in the Croatian women’s league football.
