Juventus Turin holt Leandro Paredes von Paris Saint-Germain

PSG have recently strengthened their midfield enormously and have now given up a player. Leandro Paredes is moving to Turin.

Juventus have signed midfielder Leando Paredes on loan from Paris Saint-Germain until the summer of 2023. Both clubs officially confirmed this early Wednesday evening.

If certain sporting goals are met, Juve 2023 has a purchase obligation. If these goals are not achieved, there is at least one purchase option for the Italians. Paredes’ contract in Paris is valid until 2024.

Paredes would cost Juventus up to €25.6m

Should Juventus sign the 28-year-old Argentinian, a transfer fee of 22.6 million euros will be due. There might also be bonus payments of up to three million euros.

Paredes is one of a number of midfielders that PSG still want to give up this summer. Rafinha and Julian Draxler are also said to be leaving, with the latter on the verge of a move to Benfica.

Previously, Paris had strengthened their midfield with Vitinha, Renato Sanches and Fabian Ruiz. ACarlos Soler from FC Valencia is also to come.
