Paul Pogba may play football again in March 2025, but there is little chance that it will be at Juventus. According to Italian media, the club is working on contract termination.
The Gazette writes that Pogba’s lawyers are already working with Juventus on the contract, which runs until 2026. It is likely that mutual dissolution will take place, or that the contract will be unilaterally terminated. Juventus is in a position to terminate Pogba’s contract in any case: this is allowed because the player has been suspended for violating doping rules.
‘I can look forward to the day when I can follow my dreams again. “I have always said that I have never knowingly violated the anti-doping regulations, I play with integrity and I would like to thank the Court of Arbitration for listening to my explanation,” Pogba said in a statement. ‘This has been an extremely distressing time in my life as everything I have worked so hard for has been put on hold. Thanks for all the love and support. I can’t wait to get back on the field.’
