Juventus qualified for the semi-finals of the Italian Cup on Thursday by beating Frosinone 4-0 in Turin, thanks in particular to a hat-trick from Arkadiusz Milik.
The Bianconeri, winners of five of the last ten editions, will face Lazio in April for a place in the final, while the other semi-final will pit Fiorentina once morest Atalanta Bergamo. Two confrontations played in a two-way format.
Milik in great shape
Juve, currently second in Serie A behind Inter, opened the scoring in the 11th minute once morest Frosinone (15th) thanks to a penalty from Milik, following a foul in the area by Pol Lirola on Fabio Miretti. The Polish striker did it once more in the 38th minute. After launching Weston McKennie with a very nice cross, the former Olympique de Marseille center forward was just as perfectly served by the American midfielder and placed his shot between the legs of the opposing goalkeeper.
Staggered by Manuel Locatelli, Milik found the net once more following the break (48th) and was even denied a fourth goal for offside (57th). The young Turk Kenan Yildiz, 18, completed the Turin offensive festival (61st), thanks to another decisive pass from McKennie.
