Justin Verlander and Kate Upton to buy beautiful penthouse in New York after he signed with the Mets

The Upper East Side of New York might soon have a couple of celebrities living at a lavish penthouse, according to Gimme Shelter. Justin Verlander and Kate Upton are set to buy the five bath, four bedroom property in Beckford Towerwhich had a last asking price of $16.75 million.

This would certainly make sense since the two-time World Series champion pitcher signed a two year deal with the NL East team which will pay him $86 million or around $450,000 per week.
