Pinkpop Festival 2024: Timberlake Takes A Bow
Published: Today at 12:20
Big Names, Bigger Expectations!
Hold onto your hats, folks! The Pinkpop Festival is back and it’s about to get a whole lot sexier, thanks to
none other than Justin Timberlake! Yes, that Justin, the one who made us all wait
with bated breath through the early 90s and then convinced us to bring sexy back.
If you’ve been living under a rock (or you’re an unfortunate soul who calls the 1990s “the dark ages”),
Justin Timberlake is finally taking the stage at Pinkpop for the very first time! Headlining on that
fabulous Friday night – and if he doesn’t do Cry Me a River live, we’re revolting!
Timberlake isn’t alone; he’ll be joined by a stellar lineup including the Belgian wonder,
Oscar and the Wolf, and rock legends Weezer. Add a sprinkle of Mika
and the up-and-coming Personal Trainer, and you’ve got a recipe for a Friday that’ll make
you think twice about staying in with that Netflix subscription!
Olivia: The Princess of Pop!
Next up, we’ve got the pop prodigy herself, Olivia Rodrigo, closing out the festival on
Saturday. If her rise to fame was any faster, we’d have to start considering her a
warp speed time traveler! Her hit single Drivers License saturated our playlists and left
us in tears, and you can bet she’ll evoke similar emotions on stage. But don’t worry! After that, she’s
guaranteed to lift your spirits with Good 4 U. Just make sure your significant other knows
to stay away if you’re in the “does my mascara run in the rain?” mood.
Also performing that day is Joost Klein, fresh off his Eurovision antics – a true celebration
of wildly ambitious and, literally, disqualified performances. Plus, we’ll have the likes of Cypress Hill—and no,
they’re not just for the 90s nostalgia; they’re still as cool as ever!
Muse: Rocking Pinkpop Since Forever
Finally, we wrap it all up with the British rock triad, Muse, who’ve decided to return
for a record sixth time. Clearly, they just can’t quit us! “Hysteria”? Expect that in spades as they bring
the final day to a triumphant finish. Who needs a therapy session when you can belt out anthems like
Starlight while surrounded by thousands of fellow rockers?
And as the cherry on our festival sundae, we’ll also have Korn and the ever-charming
Krezip kicking off the last day. If this lineup doesn’t get your blood pumping, check your pulse!
What to Expect at Pinkpop 2024!
28 acts have already been confirmed, with more to come in what promises to be an unmissable celebration
of music. As if that wasn’t enough, Pinkpop is hitting a milestone by celebrating its 54th anniversary. Talk
