“It Ends with Us” Stars Fought for Their Versions of the Film

The first suspicions of bad blood between Lively and the director and her on-screen partner Justin Baldoni arose when the cast avoided taking pictures together during the film’s premiere. As it turned out, a fight that took place during post-production was to blame.

The star and producer were supposed to create their own edited version of the film, the same one that viewers can see in cinemas today. The main character of the film is Lily (Lively), who starts a new life after graduating from college. She meets handsome Ryle (Baldoni). When the couple’s relationship begins to improve, her ex-boyfriend Atlas returns to the heroine’s life, sowing doubts about the budding love.
