In just under six weeks, the Place des Festivals will be transformed into “Place de l’Humour” with the 41st edition of Just for Laughs. From July 20 to 29, 2023, more than 600 artists will take to the stages of the event and more than 400 shows will entertain the expected million festival-goers.
Rachid Badouri and his just to chill kick off the festivities. Several comedians and singers will accompany him during this evening which combines humor and rap: Eddy King, Izzy-S, Koriass, M-Press Live, Oussama Fares, Rachelle Elie and Sarahmée.
In the days that follow, Messmer will offer an interactive and euphoric rendezvous to the crowd, while PA Méthot and several musical guests will offer a Mega Party Rock.
Rita Baga will celebrate the 100th performance of her one-drag-show, Creature, July 23. Comedian-musician Dave Morgan will unite his two passions in The Jam at Morganan evening that promises big surprises: Mariana Mazza, Maxime Gervais and France D’Amour are among the guests who will accompany the artist on stage.
July 25, Bad boys of laughter & Friends offers us a bilingual show with several international guests. Starring Renzel F. Dashington and Donnell Rawlings.
Alexandre Barrette will be back at Just for Laughs with a new show on July 26, with opening acts by Dave Morgan and Mégan Brouillard.
Marc Rebillet will offer a show in English, as will Freestyle Love Supreme, a creation by the famous Lin-Manuel Miranda.
It will finally be Les Trois Accords that will close the festival on July 29th.
This year, Just for Laughs will start later each day with shows starting at 5 p.m. in a new family area. More than 45 performances and activities will entertain families in this section dedicated to young people.
