In the video, Dominik Szoboszlai’s coach says that he is tired and has no energy, so he will leave Liverpool when the season ends.

Liverpool leads the Premier League with 48 points following 21 games played. That’s 5 points more than second-placed Manchester City’s tally, although the defending champions have only played 20 games of the season so far. The captain of the Hungarian national team, Dominik Szoboszlai, plays for Liverpool.

Jürgen Klopp became Liverpool’s manager in October 2015, and his contract with the Reds runs until 2026. In 2019, he won the Champions League with the team, and in the 2019-2020 season, the team became champions in the Premier League for the first time in 30 years.

It seems that there was more smoke than fire in the Saudi football championship, whose clubs spent almost one billion euros on buying players last year, but the world stars are already coming back to Europe. It’s just that the heat and humidity are high, the standard of the game is low, the pitches are bad and there are few spectators. All this is not offset by the horrible salaries.

Klopp said that he already indicated to the club in November 2023 that this would be his last season with the team.

I love everything regarding this team and this city. I love the fans, the players and all the staff. Despite all that, I have to leave. I’m out of energy. So far so good, but I feel like I can’t do this much longer. Because I love this team and all its fans, I have to be honest and that’s the truth

Jürgen Klopp explained his decision.
