Jürgen Klopp is back at work

The former coach of Borussia Dortmund will also be there at the farewell match of the two legends of the German club.

Jürgen Klopp left Liverpool in the spring after nine years, citing burnout. Since then, he has been taking a well-deserved rest, and despite being discussed with the American and English national teams, he is still unemployed.

According to press reports, the German specialist, who has been spending his days mainly in Mallorca, received an irresistible offer, which he accepted.

In honor of Łukasz Piszczek and Jakub Błaszczykowski, Dortmund will organize a farewell match on September 7, where one of the teams will be led by ‘Kloppo’ at Signal Iduna Park.

The team from North Rhine-Westphalia announced the German’s participation with a funny video.

The two protagonists discussed in a video call that they needed a coach, and Piszczek had the brilliant idea of calling the number saved as the ‘retired coach’.

After a few rings, Klopp joined the call wearing sunglasses and a huge smile.

“Finally, you get a farewell game. My God…and do you want to train before that? Are you crazy?” the German opened.

The Polish quarterback then asks which of their teams the specialist would prefer to manage, as is usual He reacted in a ‘Kloppo’ style.

“I don’t care at all. I’m not worried about that. I’ll do it as usual. I will start dealing with it five minutes before that” he added with a huge laugh.

Klopp managed Borussia Dortmund from 2008 to 2015. They won 180 of their 319 matches and celebrated two league titles, one cup and two Super Cups together before the German joined Liverpool.

Coming back to the two Polish footballers, Błaszczykowski was a player of the club from 2007 to 2016 and Piszczek from 2010 to 2021.
