It has been a short time since the Junoan app that brings a native experience to YouTube to the Apple Vision Prowas launched — it debuted practically alongside the headset — but the software has already received an important update, arriving at your version 1.1 with new features, bug fixes and other improvements.

It is important to highlight that this is the first version of the app programmed based on real use of the device — and not on a simulator. This way, the developer Christian Selig he was able to see, in practice, what worked and what didn’t in the first version, making adaptations.

Some features present in the original version — such as the ability to fast forward or rewind playback just by looking in any direction — were eliminated in Juno 1.1. They worked using the mouse during development, but in Vision Pro they ended up causing a lot of accidental activations.

Obviously, while some things remained, others were missing and were added, such as the possibility of changing the playback quality manually (previously this only happened automatically) and also of accessing the volume control more quickly — now this can be done directly from the player .

You can now also play a video just by dragging its link into Juno or editing the default YouTube URL — where there is https://just replace with juno:// for the “magic” to happen. Furthermore, the app also supports subtitles and can load videos faster.

Juno continues to cost just R$25 and is one of more than 1,000 applications developed especially for the Apple Vision Pro present in the App Store. It can be downloaded in this link.
