The rojiblanco club did not specify the reason for the departure of the player in question.

This Wednesday, Junior de Barranquilla confirmed the departure of the Uruguayan defender, Federico Andueza, who terminated his contract with the team for unknown reasons.

“Junior is allowed to inform that the contract that linked the player Federico Andueza has been terminated by mutual agreement. The club appreciates the athlete’s time and professionalism in the competitions that he faced with the red and white shirt,” the club said in a statement.

The Uruguayan who arrived in the first half of the year finished his cycle with the “Shark” and will leave an empty position behind the Barranquillero team.

Andueza came to play 11 games this year and did not score any goals, but he did receive a yellow card.

For now, it is unknown what the new course of the 26-year-old player will be, but it was speculated that he might continue in Colombian soccer.

In fact, a club with which he was linked was Independiente Santa Fe, but the arrival of Iván Scarpeta would have made his move to the Bogota team fall.
