Accommodation Record ‍in the North

The north has experienced its best July ever, achieving ‌a 10 percent ‍increase in ‍total traffic compared ‌to ‍July 2023. Hans Christian Kaurin ‌Hansson, ‌NHO’s regional director in Nordland, remarked, ‍”As August also seems to have been a good month, the summer of 2024 will end up with a record number of overnight stays.” Hotels in Northern⁤ Norway reported a 13 percent ⁤increase in total traffic ‌compared to last year, with Nordland alone seeing a⁢ 20 percent rise in overnight stays.
