“July 28 is a unique opportunity to free the country from the yoke of Chavismo”

During her visit to Lara state, the opposition leader, Maria Corina Machadoassured that July 28, the date scheduled for the celebration of presidential elections in the country, supposes a turning point in the history of Venezuela.

“It has penetrated deep into society, touched the hearts of millions of people and awakened a hope that has not been extinguished for a long time. Venezuelans know that July 28 is not just another election, but a unique opportunity to free the country from the yoke of Chavismo. We cannot let this opportunity pass us by.”explained the leader of Vente Venezuela.

On his second day in Lara state, Machado visited Cabudare, in the municipality of Palavecinofrom where he said that during his tour of the country he noticed that “people have taken to the streets to express their rejection of the Nicolás Maduro regime and their desire for a better future.”

“What is happening in Lara these days is simply incredible. The state has become a national and international reference point for the fight for change in Venezuela. I come from Tocuyo”he added.

In the opinion of the winner of the October 2023 primaries, this has been a common pattern throughout the country, something that, He added, it is an unstoppable force.

“We have to fight for the future of our children, our brothers, our grandchildren and our parents. And the fight is not about violence or threats. Venezuelans cannot be forced to attend their calls.
