“Juan Reynoso is a good option, as is Roberto Mosquera. Without any doubt, he is also a good option. They are two elements in which one has more experience than the other, but both have values and knowledge. On the other hand, Julio César Uribe made it clear that, for a coach to succeed in the Peruvian National Team, it will not be enough to have knowledge of managing the team, since this will have to be added with other variants in order to achieve the stated objective.
“You can know what you want about football, but if you are not a good human being, the possibility of change will be useless. You have to understand that knowledge is important, but complemented with values”added the ‘Diamond’ in the interview.

Gareca ended his relationship with the Peruvian team after 7 years. After holding several meetings with Agustín Lozano, president of the FPF, and other members of the same, the parties did not reach an agreement and ended the negotiations.
