The decisive decision will be made on Wednesday in principle, when the Mons Court of Appeal will rule on the appeal filed by the MR lawyers contesting the non-registration of Julie Taton on the electoral lists in Mons (she is registered on the lists in Lasne…), this while the college of the City of Mons had, last week, rejected this appeal for the first time. In short, all this will be decided on appeal on Wednesday, we will then know “definitively” the fate of the one that the MR wants to raise to second place on the “Mons en mieux” list led by the president Georges-Louis Bouchez.
In the meantime, the court of first instance in Mons (the “election judge”, as it is called), responsible for scanning the electoral lists that will be in competition on October 13, could only note – this is an administrative procedure – this Tuesday afternoon that Julie Taton is not authorized to compete, given the non-validation at this stage of her domicile in the city of Doudou.
