Now more accusations are coming against Crown Princess Mette-Marit’s son Marius Borg Høiby, 27.

Ex-girlfriend Juliane Snekkestad, 29, writes on Instagram that she was physically and mentally abused in the relationship.

– The psychological violence was the most brutal for me, writes Snekkestad.

On Tuesday afternoon, Marius’ ex-girlfriend Juliane Snekkestad published several posts on her Instagram account where she tells how vulnerable she was in the relationship.

– Even though the closest family and friends have known about this, I now choose not to be silent any longer. And to answer the questions: Yes. I have previously been subjected to psychological and physical violence by the person in question. Where the psychological violence was most brutal for me.

She also writes that she does not want to put the spotlight on herself with her posts, but instead tell everyone that it has happened before.

– This must be stopped now. That more women should be subjected to this is no longer possible, and I feel a responsibility to share this.

Mette-Marit has contacted the victim

Snekkestad writes that she received professional help for several years as well as good support from her family and fiance after the breakup from Marius.

Juliane Snekkestad and Marius Borg Høiby were a couple from 2018 to 2022. She attended several official functions together with the royal family.

They lived together in London and when the couple moved back to Norway they bought a house together in Tønsberg. In connection with the separation, Marius moved home to his parents in Skaugum.

According to Norwegian Se og Hør, Crown Princess Mette-Marit has been in contact with the vulnerable woman.

– We do not want to go into details, it is private, writes Sara Svanemyr, press contact at Norwegian court to VG.

It was on Sunday, August 4 that the police were called to an apartment in Frogner where a 27-year-old woman who had a relationship with Marius had been beaten and had her apartment vandalized. The police found, among other things, a knife stuck in the wall and a crystal chandelier that had been knocked down from the ceiling.
