In the midst of this wave of criticism towards television presenters, the journalist Juliana Oxenford turned to her Twitter account to refer to the matter and asked for a sanction for her colleagues.
In his public message, Oxenford recalled that Melissa Paredes was removed from hosting “América Hoy” because of her ‘ampay’ with the dancer Anthony Aranda, despite being married to Rodrigo ‘Gato’ Cuba.
“My subject is not entertainment, but it is impossible not to find out regarding the ‘ampay’ last night. I hope that, just as measures were taken with Mrs. (Melissa) Paredes at the time – as with Fiorella Retiz who lost her job – the two men are also sanctioned. Or do they have a crown? commented the presenter of “In Juliana style”.
Finally, Juliana Oxenford stressed that television personalities have an image to take care of: “Working on TV has its costs and you must have a minimally correct conduct.”
