Julian Hall scored the equaliser late in the game between New York Red Bulls and Sporting Kansas City | Other Football Leagues

NY Red Bulls and Sporting KC tied 1-1 in their duel corresponding to week 25 of the United States – MLS 2024 tournament.

Sporting Kansas City opened the scoring with a goal from Alan Pulido in the 9th minute of the second half. Julian Hall equalised for New York Red Bulls in the 43rd minute of the same period.

In the 9th minute of the second half, Alan Pulido lifted Sporting KC’s spirits and took all the applause. After receiving an assist from Jake Davis, the forward placed it low and in the left post. Impossible for the goalkeeper!

Julian Hall’s performance made him the standout player of the match. The New York Red Bulls striker showed his best form by scoring 1 goal and shooting 2 times at the opposing goal.

Alan Pulido was another of the standout players. The Sporting Kansas City striker showed his best form by scoring 1 goal and shooting at the opposing goal twice.

NY Red Bulls coach Volkan Bulut started his game in a 4-4-2 formation with Ryan Meara in goal; Dylan Nealis, Andres Reyes, Sean Nealis and John Tolkin on the defensive line; Ronald Donkor, Daniel Edelman, Peter Stroud and Cameron Harper in the middle; and Cory Burke and Elias Manoel up front.

For their part, Peter Vermes’ men took to the field in a 4-5-1 formation with Tim Melia between the posts; Khiry Shelton, Robert Voloder, Dany Rosero and Tim Leibold in defence; Jake Davis, Zorhan Bassong, Johnny Russell, Daniel Salloi and Erik Thommy in midfield; and Alan Pulido up front.

Ramy Touchan was appointed as the main referee for the match at the Red Bull Arena.

In the next round, NY Red Bulls will face Chicago Fire away from home and Sporting KC will play Seattle Sounders away from home.
