The Appeal Public Prosecutor in the south, Judge Raheef Ramadan, confirmed to Al-Itijah that he had decided to summon most of the generator owners in Sidon and its region for investigation, and that he had opened a report for this purpose in order to take appropriate judicial measures once morest generator owners who did not comply with the Energy Ministry pricing.
Judge Ramadan indicated that he had assigned the State Security Service to carry out this task, starting tomorrow morning, and to initiate investigations with them, successively.
The Secretary-General of the Nasserite Popular Organization, Representative Dr. Osama Saad had made a series of phone calls to the officials concerned with the generator file, and had also made a call to the prosecutor in the south, Judge Raheef Ramadan, in order to take the appropriate judicial measures once morest the owners of generators who did not comply with the pricing of the Ministry of Energy, especially following Their non-compliance with what was agreed upon in the meeting of events in the municipality of Sidon.
The contact between Saad and Judge Ramadan came following the generator owners violated the official pricing set by the Ministry of Energy, despite the municipality’s promise to help them by working to secure diesel at the official price.
