Juárez changes schedule this Wednesday

Juarez City.- On Wednesday, the schedule in Juárez will change to tie it with that of the city of El Paso, which put its clock back since last November 6.

The federal deputy for Morena, Andrea Chávez Treviño, announced that on Tuesday, before going to sleep, the people of Juarez will have to put their clocks back one hour to wake up with the new time on Wednesday.

He added that the municipal government will apply a socialization campaign to provide information to the community regarding the time change at this border.

For his part, the Secretary of the Interior, Adán Augusto López announced, through a publication on his Twitter account, that tomorrow the decree will be published that will allow the homologation of the hours at the border so that it enters into force on Wednesday.

“Representative Andrea Chávez shared with me the urgency that exists in Ciudad Juárez to match its time zone with the sister city of El Paso, Texas. The president instructed me to publish the decree that resolves this problem tomorrow and it will come into force on Wednesday,” says the publication on the official account of the federal official.
