The Serenazgo of the Municipality of Magdalena of the Sea reported that a group of people, among whom was the former soccer player John Manuel Vargasattacked and insulted watchmen and agents of the National Police of Peru during an intervention.
According to the community version, the incident occurred during an intervention on the Castagnola boardwalk late last night, Tuesday, April 5, following neighbors reported disorder and disturbing noise in the area.
“Until the place a night watchman was present, where they were several people apparently consuming alcoholic beveragesso, as dictated by his intervention protocol, he proceeded to carry out the indications and recommendations of the case, in addition to informing the central (of serenazgo)”, specified the municipality of Magdalena.
However, according to that version, the night watchman received a series of insults and expletives by these people, who presented symptoms of having ingested alcoholic beverages.
“With the arrival of the police and other watchmen, they obstructed the intervention and showed a violent attitude once morest the authority at all times. One of these people identified himself as former soccer player Juan Manuel Vargas.”affirmed the Municipality of Magdalena.
It was also indicated that other subjects who accompanied the former player tried to intimidate the citizen security team of the Municipality of Magdalena, to prevent the intervention from being recorded on video, as determined by its protocol.
