Juan Carlos De Pablo explained why the announcement of tickets with heroes is “outrageous”

After President Alberto Fernández announced a change in tickets, through which the current ones with illustrations of animals will be replaced by the new ones, which will have heroes, the Economist Juan Carlos De Pablo expressed indignation and explained why this decision, according to his point of viewit’s a barbarity”.

In dialogue with José Del Rio, for the Business Community, on LN+, he made a clarification before beginning his economic analysis and launched: “I’m furious.” De Pablo argued that the Government’s interest in exchanging bills seems to him “a phenomenal mockery.” And he continued: “With all the problems we have… I’m not going to ask this government to do something regarding inflation because it has neither political entity nor economic suitability. But at least I have to tell him not to complicate our lives any more”.

Next, the analyst gave his opinion on what he considers the economic portfolio should have to favor the local financial situation. “What you have to do is issue higher denomination bills, because denomination is a practical matter. You also have to change the currency unit for convenience: you have to get three zeros out of the currency. If he did that, the blue dollar would be 20 cents. What you have to do is wait a bit at the rate you are going so that the numbers are comfortable, ”he argued.
