The actor Juan Carlos Colombo is going through a health crisis. The film and television star — who played the role of Angelique Boyer‘s father in the soap opera Teresa — is asking for financial help, reports El Universal.

The film producer Víctor Ugalde made a call through his social networks asking for donations to help pay for his medical expenses. Colombo has acted in over 20 soap operas and 60 films, touching many hearts with his characters. The statement details the delicate situation of the actor.

Born in Argentina, Juan Carlos Colombo emigrated to Mexico in 1975, where he studied at the UNAM University Theater Center. He made his film debut in Damiana and has acted in series such as Mujeres asesinas, Locura de amor, Clase 406 and Alma de hierro. He is the father of actor and singer Felipe Colombo Eguía, the result of his relationship with actress Patricia Eguía.
