If you have a Nintendo Switch at home you have probably already faced the problem of “joy-con drift“, this famous problem which results in moving the cursors (and therefore the character) without the player touching the controller.
Under pressure from collective action in the United States, Nintendo has promised American consumers free repairs starting in 2018. In Europe, however, warranty repair or replacement has long been refused. But that is now history thanks to a complaint filed by the European organization of consumer associations (of which Test Achats is a member for Belgium) with the Consumer Protection Cooperation Network.
Today, all you have to do is contact Nintendo on their site to have your controllers repaired for free… Well officially at least!
